Exploration of my recent feelings and emotions.
The idea for the new collection ‘Stillness in time’ has been taking shape during lockdown period. The subject matter is seascape in general, however Cornish seascape in particular, as this is the part of UK I am missing the most at this point. These dreamy looking seascapes have been locked in time, left untouched by human since the start of pandemic. Waiting to be discovered once more when this madnesses is over.

As a keen world observer, I find photography is the fastest way of locking timeless moments, which I then incorporate into paintings. The process itself involves adding layers of acrylics and evolves into complete artworks so that the human eye finds it tricky to differentiate the boundaries between print and paint.
Conceptually, my intention is to give photography a new dimension, or give it an alternative outcome.

All my life I had dreams about flying, being high above in the sky. This collection is very much interpretation of my unconscious self. The idea of having centre area in focus supposed to give the painting another dimension, another way of looking at the same subject but from different perspective. I often compare it to a dream, when you know whatever your brains creates isn't real but it's simply so good that you feel dissapointent it has ended once you are awake.

There was no plan from the beginning just a pure exploration of colour and form to expresses my inner-self.
